This Privacy Policy explains how Songshu VPN (referred to as 'this Service' or 'we') handles personal information when you download, install, or use our mobile or desktop application (referred to as the 'App'). The service is provided on an 'as is' basis, and we take reasonable technical measures to protect privacy and data security.

When you download, launch, or use the App, the system may collect necessary operational data, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device model, operating system version, in-app paths, connection status, and session duration. To recommend routes and improve connection quality, we may process approximate regional information. These data are used to: 1. recommend suitable connection options based on Songshu VPN route availability; 2. improve service stability through anonymized aggregate performance data; 3. send important service updates, security notices, or necessary account reminders to your reserved email or account.

We transmit anonymous or aggregated data to third-party service providers only when necessary, such as for crash analysis, app distribution, statistics, or infrastructure maintenance. Except in the following cases, we do not share personally identifiable information: 1. to comply with applicable law, legal process, or regulatory requirements; 2. where necessary to protect users, the public, or platform security; 3. to work with service providers bound by confidentiality obligations. If you want to stop new data collection, uninstall the App through your device's standard process.

User-provided data is retained during the service period and a reasonable grace period afterward. If you need to cancel your account or delete personal information, contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from that group. If such information is mistakenly collected, we will delete it as soon as practical. We use access control, encrypted transmission, and security review measures to protect data confidentiality.

This Privacy Policy may be updated due to regulatory requirements, product changes, or operational adjustments. Please review this page periodically. Continued use of Songshu VPN after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy. This policy takes effect on October 4, 2025.
